Analyst, Buy&Pay, Transactional buyer

This position is responsible to handle procurement related activities including purchase order processing, procurement administrative support for all Howmet business units strictly following the rules of Howmet Global Procurement Procedure Manual, Procurement Service Center procedure as well as the SLA Agreements with Global Procurement Management and Procurement Operations as agreed with locations serviced.
Howmet is currently in search of a Analyst, Transactional Buyer supporting our Financial Shared Services in Székesfehérvár.
Key activities:
- Provide procurement administrative support service for a diverse customer base.
- Obtain quotations from suppliers.
- Creating purchase orders and making any necessary modifications.
- Coordinate approval of POs.
- Managing catalogue content.
- Respond to customer service and supplier inquiries and clarify requirements and provide information as needed.
- Meet all audit guidelines and ensure adherence to Procurement Service Center Team process and procedures.
- Ensure high levels of Customer Service and satisfaction in a challenging Shared Services environment.
Education, experience and skills:
Basic:- At least secondary school certificate.
- Intermediate English and basic French language capabilities.
- Working knowledge of MS Office.
- Strong customer orientation.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Ability to cope with pressure.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Confidence.
- University or college degree.
- Procurement/Requisition to pay experience.
